The fabric's high UPF value reliably blocks UV rays. The width of the hood can be individually adjusted using a drawstring - and if you don't need it, it can be stowed away in the collar to save space.Particularly practical: there is a concealed inside pocket for money or documents in the right breast pocket. Both this and the Napoleon pocket on the left-hand side can be securely closed with a zip. The reinforcement incorporated into the crown of the hat further functions as a small secret compartment for cash etc. or space for the cord. The fine metal sieve in the ventilation eyelets prevents insects from accidentally flying into the hat.
